A regular yoga practice can build confidence, stamina, and strength while calming the body and mind. Integrating yoga into an exercise routine will maximize fitness efforts, reduce your injury risk, and increase recovery. Each class guides you through a trauma-informed yoga practice, tailored for military and DoD civilians, and their dependents. Restorative

Passive yoga targeting connective tissues and muscles to release tension and stress. Promotes natural healing and rest. The perfect complement to PT, strength training, selection training, and aerobic exercise.

Gentle Flow

Slow-paced yoga with gentle movement. Poses may be held for strengthening and/or move with the breath to calm the body and mind.​ Perfect for activating the parasympathetic nervous system.

Vinyasa Flow

​Heat-building flow focusing on balance/stability, multi-muscle group movement, and mental focus. Experience benefits in cardiovascular health, strength, endurance, mental clarity, and coordination.

About the Teacher

My name is Ashley and I am a 200-hour registered yoga teacher and military spouse. I have been practicing yoga for nearly 20 years and for the last two years I have offered trauma-informed yoga to the military, civilian, retired, and dependents of Fort George G. Meade army post.​ 

My focus for each class is to hold a safe space that guides and supports healing and strengthening for individual yoga journeys. Join me for a class in an environment that nurtures both your body and mind.
