Ashley Stuart, 200RYT
I am a 200-hour registered yoga teacher offering trauma-informed yoga and meditation classes to those living and working within the Fort George G. Meade and Anne Arundel County, MD communities. As a yoga teacher, I aim to provide a safe space for the community to practice and safely guide each participant through their own personal yoga journey.
My yoga journey began in 2008. Yoga has strengthened my body, my mind, and my understanding of the world around me and I hope to share this practice with others. I studied with My Vinyasa Practice and my direct lineage of knowledge is from Krishnamacharya. Currently I am enrolled in the 300-hour yoga teacher training, as well as progressing through a Mindfulness Teaching certification.
I am a military spouse and have two wonderful children. When I'm not teaching yoga, you can find me creating art for my online shop or teaching fun, inspirational painting classes to the military community and their families through the Fort Meade Arts and Crafts Center. To relax I'll either be hanging with family and friends in my garden pub, walking to the library, or standing barefoot on a patch of moss in the woods behind the house watching the sun dance between limbs of trees.
